While some rely on pills, I’ve chosen a different path: eat eggs.
In today’s post (I wrote it on the 15th of July, 2024), I want to stress that I eat eggs while others swallow pills. One week ago, I discovered the power of dry fasting (fasting without eating and drinking water and coffee). This method has been shown to have various health benefits, including improved metabolism and detoxification. The first experiment with dry fasting lasted 40 hours. Then, after two days of intermittent water fasting (as during most of my days, I hadn’t eaten anything before 7 p.m., but I was drinking water and coffee), I had three days of dry fasting when I didn’t drink water for 14-19 hours. Tomorrow, I will probably take a break from dry fasting, and I will only be intermittent water fasting.
So, what do eggs have in common with all these things?
For a month after our return from the Estonian city of Parnu, I decided to eat eggs regularly. It is not the case that I stopped eating them. Still, I haven’t eaten them as often as I would like to. I ate two eggs once or twice a week. It was definitely too little. Eggs are a nutritional powerhouse, rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals. We should eat them regularly. Now, I eat from 4-5 eggs daily. I do not plan to stop eating them. For me, they are great for breaking my water fast. Of course, I do not break my dry fast with eggs.
So how do I do it?
I do it by drinking a half glass of water. Ten minutes later, I drink another half glass of water. Another ten minutes later, I drink a full glass of water. I am ready to eat 4-5 eggs with bacon after this. I treat eating eggs as swallowing pills/vitamins. Many people do it daily. To prevent myself from taking medications in the future, I decided to eat more eggs frequently.
