The more I explore Warsaw’s streets, the more I realize I have my own world in Warsaw.
Undoubtedly, you can see my world, based in Warsaw, in my pictures. I have often heard that I have a unique style in street photography. When I hear such comments, the only thing I can do is agree with others. I also see my specific world in my pictures. Since October 2015, I have been taking photos on Warsaw’s streets. I managed to photograph almost all districts (I did not photograph Wawer, Wesola, and Rembertow). During all that time, I managed to create my personal world, with the capital of Poland at its center. I hope to do street photography until I will be able to walk.
Why? It is because I simply love walking.
When I walk, I do not see any reason why I should stop taking photos. The curiosity of the surrounding world is not decreasing with my aging. I would say it is only increasing. Every time I leave my home to take photos on Warsaw’s streets, I wonder what exciting objects I will find this time to photograph. Are my pictures a reflection of my mood? I believe so. For many people, it may seem that I have a dark personality. I would not say so. I am smiling, e.g., quite often at my office job.
I am kind to people, and I am proud of that.
I would describe myself as a reflective person. I love to walk and daydream about many things. This is how I relax actively. While walking and contemplating, many sights to photograph appear before my eyes. While taking pictures, I create my own vision and world in the center of my Universe, Warsaw. Did I get crazy? Perhaps I did. Still, I am simply happy with that.
