My incredible creative journey is more crucial than the destination.
It is the process that counts. I create my works of art, that is, pictures, texts, “Diaries,” and sets of images like “Negation Of The End” or “Road To Nowhere” without any specific purpose. I produce art not to make money. I do it because I believe it is one of the most fundamental issues that make me human. Even if the creating process is a road nowhere (perhaps the whole life is such a road), I won’t stop doing something out of nothing. The creative process is something that drives me forward. Even if I do not know this process’s aim, I feel wholeheartedly that I will be creating something out of nothing until the end of my life.
In the business world, the aim of business activity is quite simple and straightforward.
One wants to earn money in a specific industry and trade. I am okay with that. Making money is essential for most people who stomp on this planet. Still, in the art world, there can be no aim of one’s creating journey like mine. For me, it is also acceptable. Or, perhaps I should write more bluntly: not knowing the art’s aim is one of its most significant advantages.
I hope, my Dear Friend that your life is also filled with your intimate and personal creative journey.
If I did not convince you to create whatever you like, you better read Taschen’s books and seek inspiration there. Undoubtedly, you will find. Still, I hope you have already found it and begun your creative journey. Remember, there is never too late to start artistically exploring the world. Even if no one will pay you for your works of art, it does not mean they won’t be profound. Trust yourself and create. Simply.
