While walking and doing street photography, I allow my mind and imagination to wander freely.
I wrote many times on the www.adammazek.com website that I love rocking in the clouds. I do it mainly while strolling around Warsaw’s streets and taking photos of mundane objects I come across. The older I am, the more I see and feel doing street photography; contemplating and wandering freely is one of the best things I can do for myself, my family, and future generations. It’s not just that it’s good for my health and well-being. Undoubtedly, with subsequent photo-walk, the artist is reborn again and again.
I make something out of nothing.
Quite often, after returning home from a photo walk, I have many great pictures that I will publish in the future and ideas to write something new and profound. These are the fruits of my photo walkings. While doing it, I wander freely both on pavements, paths, and roads to nowhere and deep in my mind by imagining many things or not thinking at all.
The last activity of switching off the mind and being here and now, walking and observing surroundings, is one of the most relaxing activities I’ve ever experienced.
I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to wander freely in your neighborhood and your imagination. To give you some sparks of inspiration, I urge you not only to read my blog but also to read books. I recommend Taschen, Phaidon, and Thames & Hudson publishing houses. Undoubtedly, their books provide you with infinite sparks of incentive. If you don’t reach the stars by taking interstellar journeys, let the other worlds come to your mind and allow them to live there for as long as possible. No. I do not recommend taking drugs, smoking weed, or drinking alcohol. I advise reading to nourish and take care of your mind and imagination.
