I was ignorant in terms of the Beatles’ music.
Since the beginning of my life, I remember the Beatles’ music constantly appearing practically during all parts of my life. It was impossible to escape from the Beatles’ music. For me, it was so popular that it was dull. Throughout all years, I ignored the Beatles’ tunes when I heard them, e.g., on the radio stations. Today (I wrote this text on the 19th of October, 2022), I feel I had to do it to rediscover Fab Four’s musical masterpieces for myself. When YouTube’s algorithms started recommending my lesser-known (for me) the Beatles’ melodies, I began to feel that I discovered gems for my mind, heart, and soul. From which it started?
It is hard to say, but it was probably the “Something” song from the “Abbey Road” album.
I’ve never heard this song before, e.g., on radio stations. Still, when I heard it for the first on YouTube, I knew I must listen to the “Abbey Road” album from the beginning till the end. I knew it was the beginning of my new love when I did it. I knew I would no longer be ignorant of the Fab Four’s artistic legacy. Although I have liked the Beatles’ songs since I first listened, I must admit I did not love them.
Today, I think I could say that I love hearing them. I wanted to write some words about John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, but I must stop writing this text. Why? I decided to take a short walk. It is at 11 p.m. and 5 degrees outside (41 degrees Fahrenheit). I want to take a walk in summer clothes without a winter cap and gloves. I wonder how I will cope with this cold temperature without winter clothes. Undoubtedly, I will write more about the Beatles in the future without ignorance.
