I believe that the fact that I write what I would like to read, not others, is a crucial issue that distinguishes me from other bloggers, copywriters, and, in general, writers.
The truth is that I do not seek instant gratification regarding writing and my whole creative activity. I reject splendor that is reserved for famous people and celebrities. Moreover, I do not care if I manage to monetize my passion. By writing, doing street photography, and preparing subsequent “Diaries” editions and sets of pictures like “Negation of the End” and “Road to Nowhere,” I want to express myself. I want to build a statue of my creative activity by myself. I will make this statue of photographs and texts. Indeed, I do it on this blog.
The truth is that I do not want to publish catchy posts with, e.g., camera reviews.
I want to leave thousands of insights about many topics of human living in the first half of the XXI century. I imagine that future cyber-archeologists, art historians, and readers will be reading everything I wrote with interest as I was reading, e.g., Dostoyevsky’s or Lem’s books. For my contemporaries, many things I write can be seen as mundane, not spectacular. The fact that I write in advance (this text I wrote on the 30th of May, 2022, and I suppose I will publish it in the second half of 2023) does not help attract new readers’ attention.
Still, I plan to leave as many ideas as possible for future generations as I wrote before.
How happy I am that I live in times when I can express myself by blogging. I want to encourage many other people, including you, my Dear Friend, to start expressing themselves in your own creative way. Taking photos, writing, or blogging can be one of the many ways. Even if you do not have many art recipients, readers do not care about it too much. Perhaps future generations would appreciate your effort and work. I recommend writing what you would like to read, my Dear Friend, not others.
