People tend to worry about many things they cannot influence. I try not to be one of them. When I realize I cannot influence something (e.g., the war in Ukraine), I decide to drop it and let it go.
Ukrainians won’t win, thanks to my worrying. The only thing I can influence is my doings. That’s why it is much better to donate to Ukrainians and do my daily activities rather than reading and worrying about Europe’s future. We cannot predict the scenarios that life will bring to us. Undoubtedly, there are infinite numbers of strategies that can happen to us. There is no way to predict them anyhow. We can only expect what we do right here, right now. If you want to write, do it. If you want to go out and walk, do it. There is no use in trying to fight reality. I believe it is much better to adapt to it.
If you want to fight with someone, my Dear Friend, I recommend fighting with yourself. Many of my last posts seem to be motivational ones.
Still, I know that thanks to doing intermittent fasting and exposing my body to cold, facing our fears, obstacles, and adversities is the only efficient way we can do to improve our well-being. The only thing we can genuinely inspire, and influence is our own being. Thus, whatever sits on your mind, my Dear Friend and you cannot change it anyhow (e.g., the economic crisis), drop it and let it go. Start to think about how you can adapt to inevitable changes. I believe the best thing we can do for ourselves is to accept, without resistance, everything that broadly understood destiny and reality brings to us. The “Be like water” philosophy seems to be actual. Adaptation is the key to many issues.
