The title of this post refers to the Beatles’ song, “Hey Bulldog.”
I love listening to this song. The last time when I heard it (I wrote this text on the 30th of September, 2022), I started to sing with John Lennon the titled text:
If you’re lonely, you can talk to me.
I must admit that I do not feel lonely. Still, while listening to the while being alone, I realized with whom I can talk when I am alone. Indeed, I do it quite frequently. Of course, I can talk with myself. Even if I do not feel lonely, I talk with myself by writing a new text. Indeed, I have done it every day since the 4th of July, 2021. It was the 453rd day in a row when I wrote a subsequent text. Am I a prolific blogger? I think I would say so. Still, I focus on the future, on what is ahead of me.
I try not to overthink the past. I am glad that I believe a bright future is ahead of me.
Even if I live in times when nuclear seems most likely to burst for decades, I am delighted that I am still alive. For me, writing and doing street photography is one of the best ways to realize myself. I want to do it because it provides me with much joy. I hope to inspire many other people that they can also be happy thanks to their hobby. Blogging and taking photos are only the tip of the iceberg of how you can creatively express yourself, my Dear Friend.
In the same way, the Beatles, among others, thanks to the “Hey Bulldog” song, inspired me that I can also express myself. My imagination’s limits are the only things that can prevent me from going to the top of my creative expression. That’s how I talked with myself while writing this text.
