I read much news that our future is doomed and that an impending world disaster is waiting for us.
Perhaps those who write and say such things are right. I do not know what the future holds. Those who report that nuclear war is waiting for us, that most people will die due to a global pandemic, or that we will die of heat caused by global warming maybe are correct. Some journalists speculate that only islands like New Zealand or Great Britain will be safe for humans, e.g., in case of international conflicts. Do I like to read such information? Of course not. I do not want to feed my soul and mind with news that an impending world disaster is nearby. That’s why I do not watch the news on TV. I observe only headlines of 99% from the political news.
The truth is that I always try to concentrate instead on sports news.
I have heard and read many times that the impending world disaster is close to all of us. Sometimes I wonder how it is possible that I still function as if I were the happiest person worldwide who doesn’t have any worries.
Is that all mean that I do not care for, e.g., the environment? Of course, I am worried about our planet Earth. I do all I can to minimalize my influence on pollution. Still, it does not mean that I won’t sleep properly because I pollute our planet. The most radical thing we can do to prevent upcoming world catastrophes is probably to stop reproducing ourselves. Is that all? No, we should let be eaten by, e.g., shark or tiger. I have no doubt that for me, a genuinely upcoming world cataclysm will be a moment of my death.
It will be a moment when I will disappear from the rest of the world, and the Universe will be gone for me.
For today (I wrote this text on the 18th of October, 2021), I do not wait for my judgment day and the upcoming world catastrophe. I wait to hug my beloved Kamilka and for another photo walk to take new pictures.
