While doing street photography, I have my eyes wide open and photograph whatever is in front of my nose, which impresses me.
I wrote this text on the 7th of August, 2023. It was a typical day when I was doing street photography. While walking and taking pictures on Warsaw’s streets, I wrote the first sentence of this text. It was the beginning of this writing. It is a cliche. We are all photographers and photograph whatever is in front of our noses and makes an impression on us. It is simply true. I wrote many times on the www.adammazek.com blog that I love walking and doing street photography. It is a moment when I photograph many things that appear before my eyes and nose. The more I do it, the more I cannot answer the question of why I do it. I cannot explain it, even though I tried in the posts’ series entitled “Why?”
Is it wrong to not have answers to many questions? I do not think so.
I just simply feel the desire to present mundane reality via my artistic vision. I cannot and do not want to overcome this creative desire. I want to cherish and nourish it. I do not want to kill the artist sleeping and dreaming in my body, mind, and soul. Contrary. I want to inspire others to find, evoke, and awaken creative powers, dreaming deep in all humans. Undoubtedly, we all have everything to create something out of nothing. Let’s be on the proper side of the force, not the dark one like the Russian orcs show in Ukraine. They cannot do anything besides raping, bombarding, and killing Ukrainians. Let the force be with you, but the light, positive, artistic side of it. Do not destroy things that come up in front of your nose, my Dear Friend.
