In Warsaw, the beauty lies in its constant flux, where nothing remains stable for long, and everything is in a perpetual state of motion.
The more I walk through Warsaw’s streets, the more pictures of mundane reality I take, and the more I realize nothing is stable in the capital of Poland. Change is the only certainty. Warsaw is a living organism with its own arteries (made of roads) and cells (made of people). Throughout decades, centuries, and ages, cities have been changed, like our organisms throughout our lifetime. Everything is in order and chaos, both in Warsaw and in our organisms. Warsaw is a microcosm on the same level as a human organism. In today’s post (I wrote it on the 1st of September, 2023), I want to stress nothing is predictable both in such a living organism as a big city and our organisms.
We cannot predict if there will be a car accident in the same way we cannot predict our mood within the next couple of hours.
Many of us feel that chaos rules the world. Personally, I do not believe in chaos. I do not believe chaos is the ultimate answer and solution to many questions, such as “What created the Universe and what governs it?” The fact we cannot answer many existential questions does not mean there are no hidden (divine?) laws governing the world. Many people would name these secret powers “God.”
I don’t know what I would call it. Still, I want to stress the fact that even if we do not know the answer to a critical question because our minds are too limited, it does not mean there are no hidden powers in the world. What is dark matter and dark energy? The answers, perhaps, are still to come. While writing all these things, I wondered how I changed the topic from Warsaw to dark matter. Maybe I will analyze it later.
