Inevitable Wars are the issues that accompany humanity since the very beginning.Â
Last time I thought whether pandemic of coronavirus could cause the new war (the Third World War?). I believe that yes, the world can burst with new conflicts. I do not know if it happens. Still, it can simply happen. I wrote this post on the sixth of April, 2020. Inevitable Wars were, are, and will be with human civilization until its end. When I was growing up in the ’90 in Poland, for me, it was a good and happy time. I thought that something like war would never reach me. The fact is that I remember news provided in Polish TV stations, that there is a war on the Balkans, and the US troops invaded Iraq. Nevertheless, the ’90s in Poland was a time that I believed that the disaster of inevitable wars would never reach me.
Now, I am a little bit older, and I know that it is not valid.Â
Wars can reach every one of us. The fight with an invisible enemy, like coronavirus, is, indeed, a war. Wars accompany humanity all the time, there was not a period in human civilization when nations, groups of people were not fighting with each other. The work of French poet, Clement Marot (1496-1544), describes the circle of inevitable wars accurately:
War begets Poverty, Poverty Peace
Then people will traffic and Riches increase.
Riches produceth Pride, Pride is War’s ground,
War begets Poverty, so we go around.Â
Like we see, the cyclical, inseparable and symbiotic nature of war and peace is not the invention of the XX century.
Do I afraid of wars? I think that most people do scared of it. Nevertheless, the fact is that I am most fearful of the happiness of all my beloved ones, my Kamilka, my Parents, my family, and all my friends.
