“A Writer’s Diaries”

The way I run this website is inspired by how Dostoevsky was writing and publishing his “A Writer’s Diaries.”

Famous Russian writer was doing it in the period from 1873 to his death in 1881. Since 1876 he was publishing his texts by himself.

And you know what? He was the ruler of his kingdom.

He was writing about a lot of issues. But the crucial information is the fact that he was writing about what’s most had interested him. Similar thing I have on my blog. I try not to use auto-censorship. Whether I want to write about photography, philosophy, art, other artists, or if I want to write science-fiction tale (e.g., “Earth Wars“), I do it and publish it here on my website.

In Dostoevsky’s publishing artworks, there was a lot of content. He was writing in his characteristic style.

“A Writer’s Diary” possesses a lot of legendary works of the Russian master. These are, for example, short novels, including fantasy (“Bobok”) and even science-fiction (“The Dream of a Ridiculous Man”). Moreover, a famous Russian writer created in his “A Writer’s Diaries” phenomenal short stories, like philosophical (“The Centenarian”) and psychological (“A Gentle Creature”). The other artworks published by Dostoyevsky’s are his memories.

I want this blog to be similar to Dostoyevski’s “A Writer’s Diaries.” I want to mix here posts connected with photography, tutorials regarding photography, art (books, movies, music), philosophy, or existential things.

The same thing is with my photographs published here.

I mix them whatever I want. I am having great fun while creating all this stuff (pictures, texts, and posts), and I am sure that the same feeling had Dostoevsky while creating all his written artworks. Interesting is the fact that the famous Russian artist was writing in his journalistic works also about politics. I will try to avoid to write about political issues here on my blog. I think that we all have enough politics in our daily routines, so there is no need to write about it here. It’s much better to focus on art creation.
