Today I am inspired by Hitchcock. Why?
Last time I realized that Alfred Hitchcock, a famous English film director, producer, and screenwriter, made one film two times. Which one? The title of the movie is “The Man Who Knew Too Much.” Hitchcock directed the first edition in 1934. Later on, that is in 1956 British director remade the film. According to Paul Duncan’s “Alfred Hitchcock. The Complete Films” book (Taschen), English producer said that:
The first version is the work of a talented amateur, and the second was made by a professional.
Thus, Alfred Hitchcock inspired me to write this text. The truth is that I look forward to reading and seeing my first issue of “Diaries” after 22 years. The first edition (named “Diaries 09.2017”) appeared in September 2019. If I manage to live 22 years after publishing the first edition of “Diaries,” it would be 2041. In the 2041 year, I will be 56 years old. The truth is that I hope that I will be allowed to live not 56 years, but one hundred at least. I am genuinely wondered what I will think in 2041 when I read my first edition of “Diaries.” I suppose that my thoughts would be similar to Hitchock’s one. Perhaps I will think this edition was made by a fanatic amateur who had many ideas about writing and designing books.
Moreover, I will think similar things regarding photographs published in the first edition of “Diaries.”
I genuinely consider pictures that appeared on the first edition of “Diaries” as very good. The truth is that I am not a perfectionist. Thus, I know that I can constantly improve something in my artworks and my whole life. Ok. I must finish writing. I will start to prepare a new post, and then I will prepare a subsequent edition of “Diaries.”
PS
I wrote this text on the 3rd of June, 2021.
