Everything that I publish here, on this blog, in a symbolic way, represents my intellectual freedom.
I am not only a photographer, blogger, book designer. First of all, I am a human being. I am practicing photography and writing not to create art for art’s sake. The fact is that I am doing it because I want to stress that I possess intellectual freedom. By doing all my artistic activities, I want my intellect, thoughts, and ideas to spread straight out of my mind into other people’s psyche. Whenever I publish something, whether it is a new post, a new edition of “Diaries,” or a subsequent set of pictures, I feel that I won my intellectual freedom.
Indeed, thanks to the artistic independence and intellectual freedom, I’ve got the power to represent and translate, in my creative way, both my personality and my society.
Everything that I publish on the website of www.adammazek.com is an essence of my thought. My ideas are connected to many aspects of one’s life. I feel and am assured of it that I am the sole judge of my creative works. Is that all mean that my intellect is on the highest level? I do not know. I believe that I have an average IQ. Still, this feeling does not mean that I cannot share my thoughts and ideas freely with other people.
I represent myself, and I do not want anyone to interrupt or correct my art.
I wrote this post two days after the Polish radio censored the song about Jaroslaw Kaczynski performed by famous Polish singer, Kazik Staszewski. Indeed, I hope that this case will possess a happy ending. I believe that the government will not censor Kazik’s song anymore. I simply believe that the authorities will come to their mind. Moreover, I do hope that they won’t do a similar thing to any artist, anymore, in the near and far future.
