A thought for today: I believe that we should often ask ourselves a question: “Is this choice right for me?”
I believe that, during our lifetime, we should usually adhere to the principle that if something is right for us, then, sooner or later, it will be suitable for our loved ones. Later on, the right choice made by you can be useful not only for you and your beloved ones, but also to local, regional, national and, eventually, to the international community. The fact is that I do think being selfish is proper behavior. In the long term, the egoistical choice can help not only to one person but also to many other people. Why? Because if we want to satisfy other people, by making choices, we will never please all other people.
There will always be someone who will criticize your choice.
Thus, it is merely impossible to make everyone happy. If it’s impossible, we cannot focus on satisfying others. There will always be someone who will criticize our choice. Thus, it is much easier to ask:
Is this choice right for me?
If something helps you, in the long term, it can also help others. Of course, your choice does not have to support other people. We are not saviors of the world. It is tough to make such choices that will save the rest of the people.
Nevertheless, by helping ourselves in the first place, we can increase the possibility of helping others, in the long term.
What’s the conclusion? Ask yourself often if a particular solution of a case is right for you. A simple question and impressive is the possibility of how many clues you can receive in your answer to many different issues. Good luck, my Dear Friend, in choosing the right choices during your lifetime!
