John Lennon’s voice inspired me to write this text.
In which song did John Lennon’s voice incentivize me to write a new text? It was the “She Said She Said” tune from the “Revolver” album. When I hear John Lennon’s voice, see Zdzislaw Beksinski’s paintings, and analyze and contemplate Leonardo da Vinci’s works of art, I want to go out and do street photography and write new texts. I want to leave behind something meaningful, like the geniuses mentioned above. I want to take part in the eternal dialogue between all generations. Throughout many years of my life, I tried not to listen to John Lennon’s voice. Why? It is because, for me, it was too popular. I heard the famous British singer’s voice many times, e.g., on Polish radio stations. For many years, it was too much for me.
I think the contrary today (I wrote this text on the 8th of May, 2023). I feel that I am gradually getting acquainted with John Lennon’s artistic legacy.
What other songs that John Lennon sings inspire me? These are, for example, his solo songs “Watching The Wheels,” “Jealous Guy,” “Nobody Told Me,” and “Mind Games,” or with the Beatles’ ones like “I Am The Walrus,” “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.” Why did I not mention one of the most popular John Lennon songs, “Imagine?” It is because I heard it too many times in my life. I am tired of this song. Still, I cannot say I am tired of John Lennon’s voice, in general. When I hear it, I want to create. I want to leave something meaningful for posterity. I want to become a part of the Art world with my unique visual and written voice, that will be heard not only by my beloved Kamilka, Parents, family, and friends at the forefront, but also by millions of my contemporaries and future generations.
