The title of this text refers to three songs that have ruled in my mind for several days.
The first song is “Kayleigh” by Marillion. The second is “I Almost Hear Your Sigh” by the Rolling Stones. The last one is Phils Collins’ “Inside Out.” YouTube algorithms reminded me about these songs between Christmas 2024 and New Year’s Eve. I wrote this text on the 9th of January, 2025, and I still listen to these repetitively. I knew these songs in the past, but I forgot about them throughout the last few years. Now, I am listening to them with a refreshed and restarted mind.
For me, YouTube algorithms are one example of how AI can help people discover many great things.
Thanks to YouTube algorithms, I could not only write the text “Kayleigh, I can almost hear your sigh inside out,” but also rediscovered one of the greatest albums ever composed (“Abbey Road,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” and the so-called “White Album” by the Beatles, “Thick As A Brick” by Jethro Tull, “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars” by David Bowie, “Tubular Bells” by Mike Oldfield, or “Goats Head Soup” by the Rolling Stones). Music inspires me to create. It brings me to the creative flow.
Music reminds me of one of the most beautiful things people can do: make something out of nothing.
I chose the visual and written way to realize my soul. Street photography and writing are the essence of my artistic activity. I hope to create as long as my health will let me do it. Undoubtedly, music will fuel my creative powers until my final days. The truth is that I often see my pictures in my imagination when I hear songs. Or, when I watch my photographs, some songs naturally come to mind.
