This post will be peculiar. It was the 14th of April 2018, 6:44 am, and I still did not know what I should write. It was the first time when I woke up early in the morning (to be more precise at 6 am), and I lacked inspiration.
I was checking all my notes with little ideas written previously, but nothing concrete came to my mind. Moreover, I was watching all of my books placed in the bookcase, but I was still missing inspirations. I have already mentioned in one of my previous posts that writer’s block is one of the worst things which could happen to all the writers or artists as a whole. Now, while writing this post, I decided that I should regularly prepare some small inspirations for myself practically every evening. For example, I can take my good, old, and already read books and seek some quotes from them. Marking of the quotes in books I read, is a constant practice since 2011.
Nevertheless, now I think that if I do not have enough creative powers, maybe I should not write anything and just read the book, for example? Now, I am thinking about it loudly and transform my thoughts into this virtual paper.
The starting point of all doings regarding my photography, running this website, and all things connected with the art is the fact it all should bring joy to my soul. The funny thing is that despite a lack of inspiration, I feel delighted and relaxed even if I have no idea about what I should write. I believe that the process of creation, of transforming surrounding our world to the words, sculptures, or canvases, is the primordial and divine need for all the people.
We need to transform and develop surrounding us boring and mundane reality into something unusual. Such a process makes us happy.
It helps us. In the long term, it also helps our loved ones and society as a whole. That is why people often take pictures. It is one of the most popular ways to create art, to express and mirror surrounding our reality. Writing is another tool that can fulfill our artistic aspirations.
In conclusion, I want to stress that practicing makes us perfect. If we’re going to transform reality into artwork, we should focus on this activity, practically daily. Nevertheless, there can be moments when your creative processes flow will not work at a particular moment in time. When such a moment comes, better take a break and read a book or hug your loved one.
