I believe we can learn something from each human.
Undoubtedly, each human has one’s story to tell. Even if someone seems dumb and is a drunkard, I can always learn from that person. What can I know? To not behave and do the same things as drunkards do. I believe the wisest people learn from other’s mistakes. I am not an exception. I prefer to learn from other people’s mistakes. Still, it is a tough challenge to do. I suppose most people learn from their own mistakes. In this case, the learning process simply hurts, literally and figuratively.
Can we learn something from books?
Of course, we can. We can know many things not only from books about art but also from millions of others, including Fyodor Dostoyevky’s novels. I’ve already brought up this thread in the post entitled “Adversity.” By reading Dostoyevsky’s literary works, I proved to myself that we can gain a lot of wisdom from books. The same issue is, e.g., with Taschen books.
Taschen’s literary works have hundreds of examples of people, mainly artists, from whom we can learn much based on their experience.
I do not have to mention the most wisdom I gained from my beloved Parents. It is a perfect moment to say to them, “Thank you.” Without your effort, care, and help, I would not be who I am today (I wrote this text on the 30th of March, 2023). Of course, all the people I met throughout my life, with my beloved Kamilka at the forefront, taught me many things about broadly understood life. I would like to say “Thank you” to all of you, even if lessons sometimes hurt. As I said at this text’s beginning, we can learn something from each human. Even if some people do not have too much wisdom to offer. Sometimes, we should learn via negative examples and know what we should not do.
