Listening to entire albums.

Last time I realized that I rarely listened to entire albums throughout many years.

I noticed it while listening to the Beatles’ “Abbey Road” album. Throughout decades I heard from “Abbey Road” on Polish radio stations, many times songs like “Come Together,” “Oh! Darling,” “Here Comes the Sun,” or “Golden Slumbers.” Nevertheless, I rediscovered the Beatles’ genius when I heard the whole album. The more I listen to the “Abbey Road” album, the more I feel that listening to entire albums makes much more sense than single songs. Similar conclusions I have after listening to other famous albums. Below you will find, my Dear Friend, a shortlist of albums worth hearing in their glorious entirety. In brackets, I gave songs that were familiar to me before listening to the whole album. The list of albums concerns my contemplating them between 2016 – 2022.

Here we go:

If you heard at least one of the songs from brackets but did not listen to the whole album, my Dear Friend, I recommend doing it right here, right now, without waiting for anything. Undoubtedly, all these albums will improve your well-being. Life is too short to not listen to these albums. All songs from these albums will enrich your heart, mind, and soul. I have no doubt that they will inspire you to create something profound.
