Lousy mood

Last time I had thoughts regarding lousy mood. As usual, I am not the exception, and I admit that sometimes I possess moments in my life when I feel anxiety.

Every one of us has it. Sometimes such anxiety does not have to be caused by some concrete reasons. For example, we can get up without enthusiasm and possess a lousy mood during our whole day. I believe that every one of us has the right to be not in the proper temper.

Nevertheless, usually, there are some concrete reasons why we possess a gloomy temper. But what is a lousy mood? Can you imagine the situation when all the people would have grinning, from ear to ear every day? Can you visualize the case when you get on the public bus and see all the people wide smiled? I imagine such a smile on the peoples’ faces as all of them would swallow Prozac pills before they went out of their houses. For me, it would be a nightmare. I believe that sadness without reason has its right to exist. The fact is that we do not have to know such reasons necessarily.

I am convinced that we all possess the right to have a lousy mood without any reason.

We, as humans, have the right to feel sadness, anxiety, and fear. All these feelings are a natural part of humankind’s history throughout the ages. Moreover, I am sure that paradoxically, such feelings help us to survive on this planet. For me, such strange and sad states of mind are somehow a purification for our soul and spirit.

Nevertheless, we should be aware, and we should remember that we should try to control all these negative feelings. If they last too long or appear too many times in a short period, we should try to ask ourselves or our loved ones a question. We should try to find the answer to whether something frustrating and distressing exists in one’s life. If yes, if we have, for example, too much stress in our job, we should seek solutions to cope with them. For me, taking photographs, reading a book, managing a website, and doing sports are some of the good examples of how we can overcome all our states of fear and lousy mood.

Artistic passion can undoubtedly heal our mind, heart, and soul.
