Today I will write about taking pictures on the trips. I was convinced I could take great shots only during journeys for many years.
Now I know that I was wrong. It is a shame to live and wait for the only trip to make a “picture of my life.” Then, the world will begin to offer obeisances, and you will receive an ovation and praise. Of course, we all should travel as many times as possible. Sightseeing, undoubtedly, is one of the best ways to learn about the surrounding world.
Moreover, it is normal that when we are in a new, exotic place, we want to photograph practically everything we see. It is the moment when a true artist is living in our souls. By the way, every human possesses this kind of artist, placed in the soul. While traveling, artistry is often awakening in all of us. We want to produce art by capturing the majestic beauty of new places.
Nevertheless, I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to open your eyes.
The little artist who lives in your heart and soul does not have to be awakened only during exotic trips. Making pictures on the tours is not the only way to create astonishing photographs. Go out of your home and look around you. I am convinced that even if you live in a mundane and grey neighborhood, you still can find odd things to photograph. Who knows, maybe the “photo of your life” won’t be the one you made in Seychelles or Bali. But it will be the one you made in your garden or near a bus stop near your house.
The fact is that we all can start taking pictures here and now without waiting for anything.
There is no better time and opportunity to take photographs than right now. Instead of reading this post on your smartphone, taking pictures of what you see around you is better. Making pictures on the trip is still fantastic, but try not to forget your reality. Who knows, maybe this grey reality will bring fame to you, thanks to the image you made in your neighborhood.
