Suppose it is not and will not be for me to travel in the Solar System or on interstellar voyages. In that case, I have no choice but to focus on my inner microcosm.
You can find the fruits of my personal microcosmos on the www.adammazek.com website, my Dear Friend. Does this mean I am taking LSD, smoking weed, or drinking vodka? No. I “drift off” by walking the streets of Warsaw and taking street photography. These are moments when I am here, and now, I am for myself and enjoying the Universe that surrounds me. This is when I feel that I am in my intimate microcosmos. I wrote this text on the 26th of March, 2023. It was a day when I was doing street photography and realized Warsaw’s streets are my world. I’ve already written that I somehow cut off my mind while walking and doing street photography. I love this state of being everywhere and being nowhere simultaneously. Undoubtedly, it is the essence of my creative process. I feel alive.
What else can evoke my microcosmos? It is reading books.
Reading books launches and evokes daydreaming. It moves people’s imagination. I have no doubts that if you read this text, my Dear Friend, you also read books. Do it to nourish your inner microcosmos. Undoubtedly, we all can do it because we all have it. I believe we should nurture and water it by reading, listening to music, and creating. If you let something good into your mind, undoubtedly, good things will come out of it. I would not recommend meditation because I do not do it. Still, sometimes, I feel that I do it somewhat unconsciously while wandering and doing street photography. Undoubtedly, microcosmos is within all of us. I cannot wait for the next photo walk and deep diving into my inner world of imagination and fantasies.
