The last time I wrote about John Lennon’s voice. For more information, click here. Today (I wrote this text on the 17th of May, 2023), I will write about Lennon’s excellent song “Mind Games.”
I wrote it once, and I will write it twice. John Lennon’s voice calms me and fills my heart with hope. It happens practically always in the “Mind Games” tune. Not only in the titled song but almost every time I listen to it. I WANT TO CREATE when I hear John Lennon singing the “Mind Games” song. Whether doing street photography or writing, I want to stand next to the famous British singer and walk with him in the march toward broadly defined creation.
I do not wish to destroy the world like the Russian orcs annihilate everyone and everything they approach in Ukraine.
I chose the way of light (after all, without sunlight, there would be no photography). Ok, I prefer the shadow path physically only while doing street photography in scorching heat in the summertime in Warsaw. I loved the calming last words of the “Mind Games” song when John sang:
I want you to make love, not war.
Undoubtedly, it is the very essence of his artistic activity. Moreover, whenever I listen to the titled song, I feel and know that one cannot force and push something in life. Undoubtedly, if something goes wrong, we should often let it go. It is some piece of advice connected with adaption. A similar issue, but in other words, provided Bruce Lee by saying, “Be Like Water.” While writing about all these things, I started to wonder whether I would write a text about John Lennon’s “Imagine” song. I do not have to mention it is one of the most popular songs. I do not know what the future holds. Still, I do not want to write anything about the “Imagine” tune today.
