Sometimes I think about a miracle. I wonder whether I would ever experience a miracle in my life.
It would be a remarkable feeling to experience and see something supernatural, heavenly. I want to spot the sign from God. I want to experience a miracle, after which I would entirely start to believe in God. For today, I think that we did not appear on this world accidentally, but I have no idea who or what brought us here, on this planet, and the Universe. Divine marvel undoubtedly would help me in my faith.
Nevertheless, I am convinced that the mundane reality will “disappoint me.” Indeed, I do not believe that I will ever experience any divine marvel.
It is a situation similar to one of Fyodor Dostoyevski’s novels. In “Brothers Karamazov,” believers were waiting for a miracle after the death of Elder Zosima. They never saw this expected wonder. I also do not expect to experience a spectacular phenomenon. I think that I am somewhat a realist who does not believe a miracle will occur in my life. The first paragraph of this post is my dream aloud. I already mentioned in one of the previous posts that I love to dream about many things.
But, I do not believe that I will experience any religious, metaphysic miracle.
Unless, of course, we recognize the birth of a new man as a real marvel. I believe that we are, in ourselves, a miracle. I think that the moment when a new human appears in this world is, in fact, one of the most divine miracles which can ever happen to us.
In the end, I have another surprise for you, my Dear Friend. I am convinced that we all already experienced a real, remarkable phenomenon.
“How? When?” – Undoubtedly, you will ask, my Dear Friend. I believe that every minute of our life is a miracle. We should treat our whole being and existence as a miraculous gift.
