Sometimes I wonder if modifications regarding mixing my photographs and texts are allowed.
Usually, my conclusions are that: yes, I allow to do such modifications. My two posts inspired me to write this text. These are “Soaring” (published in November 2018) and “Fatigue” (published in July 2021). I noticed one thing. The featured image of the second post would be an excellent illustration of the text from the “Soaring” post. I already wrote that often photographs presented in my posts do not match with each other. In this case, images are only illustrations of my thoughts, without many common features.
The truth is that while writing, preparing, and publishing many texts, I do not have an excellent picture that can precisely relate to the written content. Thus, I often add photographs that are not connected with the text anyhow. Still, in today’s post, I wonder if someone can modify my texts and images by mixing them in another form I already presented on the www.adammazek.com website.
Who can be interested in such doings?
Undoubtedly, you could ask me, my Dear Friend. I am convinced that sooner or later, someone will want to publish Adam Mazek’s anthology in the printed form. I bet that it will be Taschen publishing house. The truth is that I plan to be artistically active until 2080. Thus, I am convinced that Taschen will have much work editing and modifying my posts. But why they could alter them? Because, as we can see as an example in two posts mentioned at the beginning of this text, throughout the years, texts and images can appear that will fully match each other. Thus, if Taschen – editor asks himself if Adam Mazek would agree to mix texts and pictures in another way that it was previously published, in this post, I want to state clearly that I agree with such modifications.
