Last time I was thinking about one of the most monotonous issues I experienced during my photographic, lifelong journey.
What’s that secret, the most monotonous issue connected with my passion? It maintains and publishes photographs on Instagram. It is undoubtedly one of the dullest things I do regarding my love. Why? Because by running an Instagram account, we all are being standardized. All pictures, graphics, drawings, etc., look similar while observing Instagram galleries. Also, the instant gratification of receiving “Likes” for photographs is not something that I was looking for. Another factor is the fact that all people are obliged to socialize with each other virtually. Indeed, without this kind of networking, the idea of all social media sites would be weak. The truth is that I do not have much time for networking on Instagram with other people. I prefer another form of contact (from e-mails to face-to-face meetings).
Speaking shortly: running and maintaining an Instagram account is not something I dreamed about throughout my life.
Maintaining and running a website is an activity that is much more challenging to do. It takes a lot of time, challenges, and hard-to-predict issues you face while running your website. But I like challenges. If something is more difficult to do, it does not mean it is not worth doing. Also, by running your website, you are building your kingdom without help from people like Mark Zuckerberg. If doing some activities is more complex than others, there is a lot of possibility that you will gain much more satisfaction while doing more challenging work. And what about the easy ones, like running an account on Instagram? Well, it is merely a monotonous and dull issue.
