When I do street photography and capture everyday items and mundane reality, I am performing the operation of the spirit.
My operation of the spirit releases my soul from the typical appearance of things. It is a moment when I otherwordly see the whole world. I see the Universe in everyday items and mundane reality during the process. Some of the examples you can find, my Dear Friend, in my sets of pictures are “Ostensible Abstraction,” “Big Brother,” and “Inspired by Tolkien.” I love walking and observing mundane reality. The older I am, the more I appreciate it. I do not want luxuries in my life, with fancy cars, exotic vacations, and a lavish way of living. It is not the case I cannot afford a luxurious way of life.
Undoubtedly, I would be richer if I focused all my energy on my career and money-making and gave up street photography, writing, and managing the www.adammazek.com website.
Nevertheless, I was not born to earn money and spend it. It is not the case I do not want to have more money. I want to, but there are more crucial aims of my life than increasing my wealth. It is not the case that I know life’s aim. I do not know it, like all the other people. Still, I want to focus on mundane reality. For me, street photography, in the usual surroundings, is something I desire to do. This activity drives me forward. I do not know what life’s aim is, but I feel this aim thanks to street photography and writing.
It is a broadly defined creation.
I do it in the mundane reality of Warsaw. Undoubtedly, the value of all my visual and written works will increase throughout the next centuries. When we see photos of the mundane reality of the XIX century London or Warsaw before the II World War, I have no doubts my pictures will be more and more attractive for future generations.
