I wrote this text on the 8th of April, 2025. It was a day when I realized I was more robust than my backpack.
While rucking and doing street photography, I made a short stop on the bench. My rucksack weighed 32 kg (71 lbs). When I bought it over one month ago, I was convinced this rucksack would be the best of the best. Now, I am not so sure. Why? Because I noticed that stitches were bursting near my shoulder. Then, I thought that I was more robust than my backpack. I felt a mix of disappointment and frustration. Of course, after returning home, I filed a complaint.
I hope the shop/producer will accept my complaint.
I hope they change my old rucksack to the new model. Luckily, I left my old backpack in the wardrobe. Undoubtedly, I will be using it after sending back the damaged rucksack to the shop/producer. I was a little bit surprised. I thought that I bought a product of the highest quality that would withstand 32 kg. I am afraid I was simply wrong. Of course, if the producer sends me a repaired rucksack or if they send me a new one, I will be using it. Still, I am wondering what I should do if my current backpack fails again.
Undoubtedly, I will buy the new one from another company.
But from which? I would like to buy the rucksack from a company that produces backpacks for the military. I thought I purchased from the one, but now I am not sure about it. How many steps did I take today? I took 11k steps. I believe it was a good result. I do not recommend trying it at home, my Dear Friend, to fill your backpack with 32 kg barbell plates and do 11k steps. If your organism is not used to it, you can easily hurt yourself. I’ve been rucking for 9 months.
