Thanks to my office work, my enthusiasm for street photography is growing, not diminishing.
Today, when I was rucking and doing street photography, I recalled that my enthusiasm for street photography is growing, not diminishing. Undoubtedly, I know it is connected to my office job and the fact that I have limited time for my hobby because of my professional activity (which is not photography). When I go out of the office or, like today, after a long sleep, I can go out and walk over 10k steps and over 230 photographs, and I feel tremendous joy. I am not sure about it, but I think if I had much more free time, I would not use it as I wanted to.
That’s why, by appreciating the limited time and effort I put into my office job, and limited possibilities to go out and take pictures, I know I much more enjoy each step I take while rucking and doing street photography.
By the way, I had a rucksack weighing 32 kg (71 lbs) today. It was my old substitute rucksack, as my primary one was sent after I submitted a claim because one of its parts was torn. Undoubtedly, rucking also increased the level of my enthusiasm for street photography. I remembered two happenings from the past that also increased it.
I will mention them in chronological order:
1) wearing the www.adammazek.com t-shirt (I started doing this in summer 2021);
2) wearing summer clothes (including a t-shirt from point 1) in freezing temperatures (I started doing this during the Fall/Winter season 2021/2022).
Regarding rucking, I started doing it in the middle of August 2024. So it’s been nine months, and I have been doing this tremendous activity. Luckily, paradoxically, my office job also helps me appreciate that I can simply walk and enjoy beautiful and mundane street photography.
