I am keen on listening to other people’s comments and recommendations. Still, my own ideas are the ones that I want to use.
My own ideas from a creative standpoint are the only ones to which I can subscribe. Thus, I must respectfully refuse other humans’ suggestions. According to his own ideas, every artist has to do his own work and not according to other people’s proposals. It does not mean that I won’t listen to others’ recommendations and hints like I write initially. I like to listen to others. I enjoy talking to other humans. Indeed, it provides me much joy, insights, and incentives.
Nevertheless, in the case of all my artistic activities, it is I who have the last word to say.
The fact is that some people try to persuade me to do or change something, e.g., on my blog. I listen to the proposals, but practically always, I refuse bits of advice. It is my own creative way of thinking that I want to follow. I wrote many times that creative independence is exceptionally crucial to me. I know that I will never have true freedom in my accountancy job. Why? Because of official, imposed tax regulations or accountancy act. Thus, I want to have, retain and cherish my own ideas. Even if, after years, I see that some of them were not as good as I previously thought, I know that I made a proper decision that I had the last word. It is the process and learning that counts.
Suppose someone does not accept and tolerate my own ideas. In that case, one better stops reading this blog because it is I who will make final decisions on all my projects (e.g., “Diaries,” “Negation of the End,” or “Birds”). Ok, I finish writing. I wrote it on the 11th of April, 2021, at 10.20 a.m. I feel that I must go out to take incredible new photographs.
