A lot of people ask me which camera do I use. I use Nikon D90. Nevertheless, as I wrote before, it is not a camera which makes a picture, but a photographer.
Last time I noticed that I am blogging regularly for more than two and a half years. I started in September 2017. Since that time, I rarely mentioned which camera do I use. Why? Because speaking shortly, it doesn’t matter at all. Since 2012 I use my beloved Nikon D90. Does this camera possess any special features? No. During a time when I bought it, it was a piece of average, proper equipment. So why did I chose this particular model? I try to remind, but, honestly, I do not remember why. Probably it was a coincidence. For most people, choosing and buying a camera is often one of the most crucial issues during their journey with photography.
The fact is that today we can take pictures with many cameras or smartphones, and choosing one new, a model of equipment is not as crucial as most people do believe.
I wrote it once, and I will write it twice: the main thing responsible for taking good pictures is not a camera, but an artist’s mind and imagination. Without thinking, observing, and analyzing the view in front of our eyes, our pictures will be average, even if they will be made with the newest model of Leica. If you want to buy a new camera, think twice or triple, before you spend money. For me, there is no use in overpaying for a new model of a camera. The fact is that 99,9% of pictures presented on www.adammazek.com web site I made with Nikon D90. Do I plan to change this camera? No. The best option (but no realistic) will be if I use this model until the end of my life.
