I want no new style in my street photography.
The more I do street photography, the more I realize I want no new style in it. My way of taking pictures of Warsaw’s streets does not bore me. Does it mean I always take shots in black and white? On the contrary, I always take photos in colors. I only edit them in Lightroom to black and white. Still, when I see frames in front of my eyes in the camera, I usually try to imagine them in black and white. Still, even if I see that the color has the most meaning in my frame, I also take a shot. For today (I wrote this text on the 23rd of June, 2024), I cannot estimate how many pictures where color has a dominant role I have in my collection.
Still, many of them are already tagged adequately in Lightroom.
They are waiting to be published as something like “Mazek in color.” Undoubtedly, a subsequent set of pictures will appear on the www.adammazek.com website. Still, as mentioned at the beginning of this text, I do not seek and need a new style in my photographic journey. Even if I consider publishing many colorful pictures in the future, I do not plan to change anything in my way of doing street photography. It is a contemplative style. I go out of the office or my house, go wherever I want, and try to forget about everything. Suddenly, when my feet are stomping on the ground with a mind in the sky, frames ready to photograph appear in front of my eyes. That’s how I have done it since October 2015. No new style in my street photography is needed. That’s all I wanted to tell you, my Dear Friend, today.
Have a good day!
