I think that most people, sooner or later, would imagine themselves being on the cover of the magazine.
I already fulfilled my dream. The fact is that I appeared on the cover of “Diaries 06.2018 p.I.” Why did I put my self-portrait on the outside of “Diaries”? I do not expect any periodical (led by Taschen) to publish my image on the surface of one of its works. So, to satisfy my vain whim, I decided to put myself on the cover of one of the most outstanding works that mankind will read.
Are you insane? Do you want me to tell your “Diaries” will become a classic of literature? Didn’t you lose your mind?
Undoubtedly, you could ask me, my Dear Friend. Assuming that I will live in relative health and peace of mind for the next 80 years (my dream is to live to the twenty-second century), I have no doubts that “Diaries” will enter the canon of broadly understood literature of the 21st century. I am a prolific blogger. I believe that if someone is consistent in one’s doings, this person will reach the master level in this activity sooner or later.
Speaking shortly: I believe in myself and in the fact that the more I write, the better writer/blogger I am. It is a similar case with photography. The more pictures you shoot, the higher possibility that your photographs will become better in the long term. In the case of writing, I hope to be an active writer for as long as possible. It is my dream to be able to describe the XXII century and to photograph it.
What about being on the surface of a magazine? Well, for me, it is only good fun. Adding myself to the cover of “Diaries” was a pure satisfying of vanity. I think that someday I will repeat this fact.
