Last time I noticed that there are many photo albums about various themes. Still, there are almost no photo albums about street lamps as a leading theme.
Ok, I googled three albums about street lamps, so I was wrong while writing the beginning of this text. There are some albums, but in my opinion, it is too little. For me, Warsaw’s street lamps are one of the most joyful and graceful pieces of city to photograph. I already wrote that while seeing street lamps, I often think about Stanislaw Lem. Why? Because we have to look to the sky while doing it.
Moreover, when I wander through Warsaw’s streets and see many street lamps, I feel like an alien who has just landed on Earth.
This alien from outer space is curious about everything he sees. Because there are many street lamps, he observes and visually analyzes them with unearthly curiosity. There are many printed erotic albums. Or, many publishing houses printed albums connected with food.
Moreover, there are many photographic albums about broadly defined street photography. Who knows. Perhaps my photo album about street lamps would become one of my opus magnums, like “Diaries?” There are many options for the future, and it could be one of many possible scenarios. I already wrote that I believe in myself, and I have no doubt that Taschen would publish such an artistic album with my photos sooner or later. In this post, I must state that I think about creating a new collection of pictures, named, e.g., “Street lamps.” I have been looking for decent photos for many months, and I must admit that I already possess many of them.
I wrote this post on the 19th of July, 2021. I wonder when I will publish the first part of my photo album about street lamps. Ok, I must finish writing. Today I was walking around Piaseczno, and I must rest.
