Today (I wrote this text on the 28th of September, 2024), I will describe my photographic workflow.
A street photographer like me has to find something, notice something, and get to that place to work something out, to create something. To do it, I must leave my house and walk to penetrate Warsaw’s streets. Whether I found something interesting, something that caught my eye, accidentally or not, I had to do the work: walk and observe. Or, as it sometimes happens, I only walk without analyzing my surroundings too much. It is a moment when I switch off my mind and simply cherish the present moment. For me, it is not a professional job. Still, the fact is that I put a lot of time and energy into street photography.
I love this activity.
When I think I will be walking and exposing my body throughout the next couple of months, I will simply be lucky. Also, since the 18th of August, 2024, while doing street photography, I have ruck (I walk with an additional 12 kg [26 lbs] of barbell plates in my rucksack). I do all these extra activities for my health and well-being. After finding an interesting object on the streets, I have to use a camera to create a picture. Then, I edit most of the images in my favorite software for photography (I use Lightroom) and publish them here on the www.adammazek.com blog.
I consider many of my pictures to be true masterpieces.
This is my photographic workflow in a nutshell. Of course, it can vary in many ways. Still, it is how it looks on my side. I wonder how the photographic workflow looks in other street photographers’ routines. Also, I wonder if, and if yes, how my photographic workflow process will change in the future. For today, I do not plan any changes.
