You may wonder, my Dear Friend, if I take photographs of nature.
Undoubtedly, I take photographs of nature in the cityscape. I do not have to mention that trees are my companions in every photo walk. Examples of my pictures of trees you can find in posts: „Trees” and „Inspired by Tolkien.” I think that most people tend to take photos of nature. It is a normal thing. By doing shoots of Mother Nature, we, undoubtedly, want to express the delight of what we see and sense. There are many remarkable pictures of nature on the Internet and in many books and albums. For me, Ansel Adams and Sebastiao Salgado are probably the best photographers of wilderness. If you do not know their artistic activity, google them right now! Still, I have no doubts that there are ten thousand other great visual artists who take magnificent photoshoots of the environment.
The truth is that for many years (to be more precise: up to October 2015), I was focused on taking pictures of nature.
My charming family city, named Brok, situated in the northeastern part of Mazovia, provides me with a lot of inspiration to take wildlife photographs. The big wood (called White Forest) and three rivers (Bug, Brok, and Turka) floating across Brok give every photographer truly remarkable motifs to photograph. The fact that I do street photography and it has become my biggest passion does not prevent me from admitting that I love Mother Nature. I still feel magnificent joy while taking photos of the natural environment.
I do not think I should encourage you, my Dear Friend, to take shots of the wilderness. Without a doubt, you already have many such beautiful pictures on your phone. Keep up this good work and continue to joy the possibility of being near nature. Even though I feel I have become a classic city dweller, I want to stress once and for all that I merely love nature and taking pictures of it.
