In general, I like planning. I try to plan as many things as possible in my life. Nevertheless, there is no option that everything will always go according to the plan. Plans can don’t work out.
I prefer to possess control over all aspects of my daily routine. I honestly appreciate the advantages of having a good schedule not only in work but also in private life. Accurately planning helps us efficiently and correctly, managing our time, energy. Also, it can help even in the finance area. Planning makes our life more comfortable. I honestly recommend adding this activity to your daily routine. Nevertheless, as usual, in our lives, there are exceptions to this rule.
For me, these exceptions are hidden in both my passions: photography and running this website.
I do not have any plans and expectations regarding my hobbies. What I know is that for today (I wrote this text on 19th of April 2018), my only overall strategy is to write posts, and bedizen them with photographs previously made on the streets (mainly streets of Warsaw). I do not possess any expectations. Nevertheless, sometimes I ask myself: do I hope to gain something unexpected from my hobby? Probably yes, but I still do not know what exactly.
My only plan regarding my passion is to leave somehow a “trace” of mine. It can be a “trace” of my thought, imagination, or visualization. Let’s call it a “trace” in the cyberspace.
I am not either a futurologist (like Stanislaw Lem) or an IT specialist. I do not know if the traces of my website will remain in the virtual reality for thousands of years. Sometimes I imagine that the virtual archeologists in the future (let’s say 3200 years AD) will try to rediscover once again for humanity the data from the beginning of the internet era. Who knows, maybe some scientists will try to recreate my website once again in the future and check the mental condition of the people living at the turn of the XX and XXI centuries?
Hmm. Sometimes I think like a kid.
In conclusion, I want to remind you that in general, we should plan our future. Planning helps us to operate in our day-to-day actions. But remember, my Dear Friend, if your plans fail, try to be like water and treat every change or even defeat as a lesson. Try to be thankful for your failures. These are not my words. Seneca wrote them.Â
Back to the central theme: the truth is that the only thing in which I do not have any plans is my passions (photography and this blog). This website is the place where I do what I want and when I want. Without any schedule. Without special planning.
