For me, managing the www.adammazek.com website, taking photos on Warsaw’s streets, writing texts, preparing subsequent editions of “Diaries” or PDFs like “Death” is like playing an artist.
I believe that every human can become a broadly defined artist — someone who creates something from nothing. Undoubtedly, we all possess creative powers that are sleeping inside of us. It is mainly up to us if we want to awake these superpowers. Playing an artist reminds me of playing with soldiers or football during my childhood. Indeed, for me, every moment of my life is the best one. There is one common feature that links all worldwide artists (but not only them). It is the fact that, first of all, all of them have joy thanks to creating something new. They all have a primordial desire to create new things, whether it be a painting, a novel, sculpture, a new song, or a picture. They (including me) do not block themselves from creating new works.
Moreover, everyone who creates new things takes a lot of joy in doing this.
Without childish fun, there would be no art. Thus, playing an artist is one of the most joyful plays for me. Undoubtedly, it is much better than drinking alcohol. I do not need any strange external substances to write new texts and take new, odd photos. It was Salvador Dali who said that he didn’t take drugs, but he was a drug.
Indeed, I do not drink alcohol, eat sugar, and use drugs. I do not need all these things to be happy. What I need is the love of my beloved Kamilka, and my family, with my dear parents on the forefront. Playing an artist is a passion that brings me a lot of joy. I wrote this text as a 35 years old adult. To be more precise, I wrote it on the 19th of February 2021. I did not do that as a reckless, frivolous child but rather a responsible grown-up.
