They say that we should not play with fire. I agree with that. But, simultaneously, I ask myself why I should not play with time?
The fact that I publish posts with a 3-4 months delay is a play with time. What do I exactly mean? Today’s blog post I wrote on the 15th of July 2018. While writing it, I do not know when accurately I will publish it. Probably somewhere in November 2018*. 99% of my previous texts I wrote a few months before being released. For me, it is one of the best examples of how I can frolic with time.
I cannot take control over time. It is an undeniable fact. But, this website is proof to me that I can play a little bit with time. The same is with my photographs. For a long time, I have been taking pictures without publishing them. Many images that I present here on my website are not the newest images, but they are often from the very past**.
In general, all my texts are the voice from the past.
What you read are my thoughts which appeared in my head a few months ago. Now, when I publish texts written before, I only update them a little bit so that maybe they can seem to be written not a few months ago but a few days ago.
You can ask me: “But, why you do it?”. Firstly and most importantly, I produced a lot of texts before I started to run this blog. I wanted to do this so as not to lose the frequency and continuity of publishing. I wanted to possess a lot of both texts and images for a start, in reserve. Later on, I decided that I will be publishing all the posts with delay. I want to play with time.
*As we can see, I published this post on the 10th of December 2018.
**Pictures presented in this post are from years: 2015-2017.Â
