I want to write about something other than politics on the www.adammazek.com blog, but sometimes I have to.
Today, I will write something about politics. I wrote this text on the 24th of February, 2023. It’s been one year since fucking Putin’s army attacked Ukraine. I have already written a text entitled “Perspectives for my nation.” It happened a few years before the war in Ukraine started. I published it on the 14th of October, 2019. In this post, I wrote that the 30 years after communism’s collapse were (and, indeed, still are) one of the best years in the 1000 years of Poland’s history.
Today, by remembering the war, I predict that years ahead, for all of us, will be called the Second Cold War. My homeland will be a frontline state, unfortunately, for many years. It is only my prediction. I want to be wrong. I hope the Ukrainian army will drive the Russian trolls out of the Ukrainian territories, with Crimea and Donbas at the forefront.
Still, no one knows what the future holds. I do not believe there are winners in this confrontation. Perhaps only those who produce weapons are content.
Nevertheless, I keep my fingers crossed for all the Ukrainians in their brave battle against the rashists. I am still supporting the Ukrainian refugees by donating funds to them. Of course, I do not do it daily, unfortunately, but I do it at least once monthly. With the US at the forefront, I hope Poland and the rest of the Western countries will still be helping Ukrainians. Undoubtedly, giving them armor is the most efficient way to do it. In today’s post, I want to stress that I support giving Ukrainians the best and as many weapons as they need. Let Ukrainians kick rashists out of Ukraine. While writing all these things, I read that Russia wants to annex Belarus. It also confirms my statement that Poland will be a frontline state in the second cold war.
