Today (I wrote this text on the 11th of April, 2024), I will write shortly about prices for my photographs.
Perhaps the prices for my individual photos will never be dizzying. Still, I can imagine that the collection of my photos and the copyrights to my literary work will reach a dizzying value after my death. Do I do street photography to sell my pictures? No, earning money on photos is not the aim of my activity. Still, if someone creates art for money, I do not see anything wrong with it. I cannot explain precisely why I do everything you see and read on my blog, my Dear Friend. Undoubtedly, I do it because I feel the desire to do it. Perhaps the creation process is addictive.
The truth is that the more I take pictures and write texts, the more I want to be immersed in the world of art.
Still, money is not my aim and issue. For today, I sold some of the pictures in Poland and sent some to the US and UK, because I found buyers via the Artfinder platform, but it’s about something other than the money. I believe in creating, not destroying or killing. The latter ones, undoubtedly, are represented by the Russian trolls who invaded Ukraine more than two years ago. I do not want to be a Rashist.
I want to inspire other people that they can make great things using their knowledge, manual skills, and imagination. That’s why I believe the rights to all my pictures and texts will be worth gigantic amounts after my death. For today, and during my lifetime, prices for my photos won’t bother me too much. I am not a businessman selling pictures or doing almost everything to have a client. I do not care about clients.
