If you are my regular reader, probably you had already noticed that to my one post, I am adding a minimum of 4 four “mixed” pictures.
What do I mean by writing “mixed”? I want to say that all those four images which appear in each post are from different part of the time. Moreover, they are often visually distinct. Quite often, there is a lack of connection between the photographs and between the text and images. Some of the people would say that it proves that I am indecisive and do not know how to mix and present my photographs. But, they are wrong.
The clue lies in the “puzzle” word.
I am making photographs, developing them in Lightroom, adding to the posts, writing the texts. All these activities bring me enormous joy in my life, which genuinely encourages and inspires me to be more and more productive.
Walking through the streets of Warsaw helps me in relaxing and contemplating my life. Taking pictures in the urban space develops my imagination. Developing my photographs is helpful for me regarding the training of part of the brain, which is responsible for concentration. Writing texts provides me a booming development of my creativity and artistry. Reading books about art gives me a lot of new information. Working on this website teach me something about developing websites.
Speaking shortly: my passion, loosely connected with photography, brings me pure, childish joy.
When I am doing all these things, I feel like a kid, once again in my life. My pictures are like puzzles for little kid – it is a perpetual state of being in a good, developing fun. The state of euphoria pours into my mind, heart, and soul like water when I am doing these things connected with art. It is the state of mind called freedom.
The art is like a drug.
Famous Polish painter Zdzislaw Beksinski said that art for people is like vodka given to the convict. It stupefies us, and it helps us to survive in this world. Comment made by Beksinski is a tragic vision for humankind. Nevertheless, I agree with the famous Polish painter. Paradoxically, the first part of this blog does not exclude the Beksinski’s thoughts. Nonetheless, I will write about it in the future.
