I live nearby two railway stations in Warsaw. Their names are “Żwirki i Wigury” and “Służewiec.”
The fact is that I like to wander along with their routes. The scenery that occupies the railway is ideal for creating photographs. Of course, such a view will not be acceptable for every photographer. For my specific, odd kind of photography, a scenery taken from the around of railways is astonishing and perfect. The fact is that I merely like to walk along railways and find an excellent opportunity for another good shot.
During my photographic walking, I managed to get to the “Aleje Jerozolimskie” railway station on the west, and “Okęcie” on the south.
During my journey, the landscape is various. I can walk along both concrete pavements and sandy paths. Moreover, I can meet many people, including people walking with their dogs, employees of the corporations who went out of their office to breathe the fresh air, or homeless. The landscape is also diverse. It can be similar to the rural one. Or, it can be comparable to the industrial landscape or typical corporate office.
Speaking generally: I love to walk wherever my feet will direct me.
Whether it is a giant residential district consisting of large blocks of flats, the rural part of the city similar to a park, industrial, or corporate portion of the town, I like wandering through all these places. The same is with the paths that I choose to walk. Whether it is a pavement, road, or path which is passing by near railway, it does not really matter at all which way I choose. The crucial fact is the fact I walk that I can go wherever I want. Railways is merely another way of which I can move during my artistic journey, named “Neverending Photo Story.”
