Undoubtedly, reaching perfection is like trying to reach infinity. We will never get there.
That’s why I do not aim to be perfect. This statement regards not only my artistic activity but the whole of my existence. I know that something like perfection does not exist. All these things do not mean I do not try to reach it. It is a similar case to endeavoring for universal truth. The more we discover, the more questions arise. Thus, paradoxically, human civilization’s learning curve prevents us from knowing the essential answers regarding the Universe.
The more we know, the farther we are out of the Universal truth and nature, I would say. I believe that a similar process regards reaching perfection. All my works, including texts, pictures, sets of images, or “Diaries,” are imperfect. Every time I finish something, I see many issues that are not perfect. I see that practically everything I’ve done, I could do better. If I adjusted everything I created after finishing it, I would get crazy.
Moreover, I could correct all these things endlessly.
Going further, by trying to reach perfectionism, I know that I would start to chase my own tail.
I would never publish anything because I would see that I do not make perfect things. Trying to reach perfection is useless. It does not have any sense. It is much better to focus on other aspects of our existence. I feel free thanks to forgetting and not bothering regarding perfectionism daily. I want to encourage you, my Dear Friend, to not seek perfectionism in all your doings. Is it possible to reach infinity? Of course, not. I have no doubts that simultaneously, getting perfection is impossible. Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest footballers ever (who scored more than 800 goals – as of the 23rd of December, 2021), is not also perfect. He had lost many games and had not won all trophies. Even he and Robert Lewandowski are only imperfect humans.
