Read! Good things will undoubtedly come out if good things get into your mind.
Did I already write that I love to read!? Yes, of course. Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong with making repetitions. The fact is that we never know who and when will start to read my blog. Thus, I sometimes repeat myself.
So why should we read? Reading opens one’s mind and develops our imagination. It brings us a lot of wisdom. I believe that there are three main and most efficient ways to discover the world and gain knowledge:
1) talking with other people;
2) traveling;
3) reading.
These three things are listed in any order.
So what books can I recommend to you, my Dear Friend? In 2013 I read almost all of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s novels, translated into Polish. A famous Russian novelist is the first writer who came to my mind. Thanks to Dostoyevsky, I honestly started respecting all other people without exception.
Nevertheless, there was also a Polish science-fiction writer (Stanislaw Lem) whose books talk not only about futuristic science but also about philosophy, psychology, faith, and religion. Undoubtedly, I recommend you, my Dear Friend, to read Stanislaw Lem’s books. Trust me that your imagination will boost after reading Polish genius books.
What books did I read lately? These are Taschen books.
The German publishing house is my favorite publisher. Reading, analyzing, and contemplating books where texts, pictures, and graphics are on the highest level is a pure feast for eyes, mind, and imagination. These books give me a lot of inspiration. Like I wrote in the first sentence of this post: if good things get into your mind, good things will come out. Taschen is the following example that many good things happen after reading.
The fact that I started to prepare my “Diaries” is an excellent example of good things happening thanks to reading. Speaking shortly, my Friend: read!
