Last time I broke my record regarding walkings with a camera in my hand.
It happened between the 23rd of May 2020 to the 2nd of June 2020. During all these days, I walked and took pictures every day. This is my official record for the number of days walking in a row with the camera in my hand. Eleven days of walking are undoubtedly an excellent result. What was the reason for this streak? Undoubtedly, the pandemic of coronavirus was one of the reasons for that. During the days mentioned above, it was legally possible to walk calmly after a period related to coronavirus. During that period, Poland people could not walk freely outdoors during some days of March and April. After lockdown, I felt that I want to breathe with fresh air.
I missed my walkings both with my beloved Kamilka, my Parents, and lonely photo-walks.
For me, the possibility to walk is one of the most crucial issues to be able to feel free. When I walk, when I see blue sky over my head, I feel alive when I breathe the fresh air. Endorphins are buzzing in my blood. It is a time when I feel happy. I mentioned it earlier, but I want to stress that a lot of ideas come to my mind regarding my broadly defined artistic activity during walking. This post is not an exception.
Another factor that helped me in breaking my personal record was simple. It was good, optimal weather for taking pictures. There was no heat. It was a little bit rainy, but I like this kind of weather to walk. Moreover, the temperature was between 15 to 23 degrees Celsius (between 59 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit). Was there a downside of breaking the record? It was fatigue. But, the fact is that I love being tired because of walking.
