Last time I was thinking about regularity. I believe consistency can be both a healing and a curse for all humans. As usual, it is only up to us how we use it.
In general, it is okay if we have healthy habits. Examples from my personal life can include: taking pictures, writing texts, running this website, or playing sports. I’ve told it once, and I’ll say it twice: I love to do all the things mentioned above. It is my true passion, to which I devote most of my free time. Today, I cannot imagine my life without my hobbies. For me, it is hard to envisage that I will not do all these things regularly. I am convinced that I am continually developing thanks to regularity in making my hobbies. Thanks to my amusement, I am moving ahead in my broadly defined development. Thus, I cannot stop doing all these things.
Nevertheless, regularity can become a human curse.
The first thing which appeared in my mind was the addiction to drugs, alcohol, or scrolling on a smartphone. We all know that alcohol consumption is not a healthy habit. If we add to it regularly, the worst things can come to our lives. Drugs are destructive, even in minor amounts. Thus, we can imagine how devastating conventional drugs and narcotics doses can be for people’s minds and bodies. Also, nowadays, a lot of people are more and more addicted to scrolling on smartphones.
Social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, and so one) can also damage people’s minds, especially the young ones.
Thus, we can see that regularity can also bring us devastation and damage. I truly encourage you, my Dear Friend, not to become the slave of routine in terms of bad habits. Let the flow consistency lead you in your passion and hobby. Trust your body, mind, and soul, and do not forget that becoming a slave of anything is not a proper thing for you.
