In one of my previous posts, I wrote about an experiment connected with eating. Today, I will describe my second experiment.Â
I wrote this text on the 28th of December, 2022, at 4 p.m. Why is the hour critical? The hour is crucial because it’s been 48 hours since I started my second experiment. Speaking shortly: I was feasting between the 24th (4 p.m.) and the 26th (4 p.m.) of December. On the other hand, I was fasting from the 26th (4 p.m.) for a minimum of 48 hours. When did I feel better? During the first or the second experimentation? Undoubtedly, during the second one.
Disadvantages of fasting are:Â
- Frequently going to WC to pee (it means the organism gets rid of toxins);
- worse social life (you do not eat with your loved ones).
Still, I have no doubts that advantages are much better than disadvantages. Why? Because the more I do intermittent fasting, the more I feel continuous eating is not a natural thing. Prehistoric people did not have fridges. If they hunted animals, they had meat to eat. If they gathered some vegetables or fruit, they ate it. Still, one can easily imagine that during, e.g., wintertime, they did not have plants to pick. They had to fast because no one gave them a choice.
Nevertheless, their organisms got used to fasting. Their brains still worked at the highest level.
Without it, I would not write all these things on my blog, and you, my Dear Friend, would not be able to read it. Why? Because human civilization would be gone. Only children, pregnant and feeding women should not do intermittent fasting. Since I started doing it regularly (it’s been two years since Christmas 2020!) I feel better. The same is true regarding my romance with coldness. Mixing fasting and exposing the body to cold is something I recommend to almost everyone.Â
